Sophie specializes in individual counseling for children and adults who want to move beyond survival and engage with life more robustly, creatively, and authentically. In her graduate training, she worked extensively with children ages 0–5 and their families to heal from traumatic experiences, while also specializing in supporting new parents navigating the profound transition into parenthood.

As a psychotherapist working in the Depth Psychological tradition, Sophie’s work tends to be medium- to long-term, focusing on making the unconscious conscious to allow new, life-giving patterns to unfold. Much of this is achieved via the therapeutic relationship itself, which serves as a steady, reflective vessel for experimenting with new ways of being. Using dreams and other observable unconscious expressions as her prima materia, she is fully equipped to help clients navigate the anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma that can arise during deep inner work. Sophie recognizes the cultural poverty that often serves as the background of our modern lives, and deeply trusts in the individual's capacity to heal and thrive nonetheless.
